BSI and TT Club Global Report on Criminal Risks in Supply Chains

Dear colleagues!
BSI and TT Club have released an annual joint global cargo theft risk report in 2020. The study includes a brief analysis of crime trends across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Americas, as well as basic recommendations to minimize the risk of loss. In particular, at the global level, the most vulnerable categories of cargo in terms of theft are food (31%), consumer goods (10%), electronics and household appliances (9%). Among the countries where the problem of theft is especially acute, the authors note Brazil, India, Mexico, Germany, Russia and the United Kingdom. The distribution according to the modality of crimes is as follows - theft during transportation - 71%, theft from warehouses - 25%, the other - 4%.
