Dear Colleagues,
The next issue of the TAPA EMEA electronic monthly magazine for September was published yesterday (original in PDF format is attached).
This release covers the following topics:
- problems of an acute shortage of drivers and trucks in Europe
- information about the upcoming TARA online conference on November 8-12. Participation is free for everyone. You can watch the video directly from the link from the document. Registration via the link https://tapaemea.org/news/join-our-biggest-ever-event-in-emea
- news of the creation of a specialized TAPA working group to combat fraud in cargo transportation (IMPACT, as a TARA partner, will be included in this group from Russia)
- experience of the TSC company, the Netherlands in the field of monitoring and escorting high-risk goods. A very interesting experience, a lot of useful information about how this service should be organized correctly and what shippers need to keep in mind;
- a list of new members and certified companies according to FSR and TSR standards (there is no one from Russia yet, unfortunately);
- Infographics on cargo thefts by the Cargo Crime Monitor for July (incidents in Russia did not have time to get into the report, otherwise the Russian Federation would have taken 1st place in the rating. IMPACT registered 24 thefts);
- another portion of questions and answers (FAQ) on the TAPA standards (very useful explanations for the ambiguous requirements of the standards).
IMPACT plans to publish announcements of these issues in the future. We hope it will be fun and useful for many.
