On March 29, 2021, in St. Petersburg, two vehicles were loaded with a "raw tobacco" cargo with the destination Almaty, the Republic of Kazakhstan and a total cost of 15,000,000 rubles. In violation of the shipper's instructions, on March 30, 2021, both cars, at the direction of unknown persons, were reloaded in Moscow to other vehicles in the FoodCity area on the Moscow Ring Road. The cargo was stolen in full.
Thanks to timely and coordinated actions, the location of the alleged location of the cargo was determined. A task force of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was sent to this place in the Lyubertsy area, where it was discovered in full. After completion of the investigative and operational actions, the cargo will be returned to the cargo owner. The police have been provided with all the materials for tracing the organizers of the fraud.
